Place chopped dried fruits, walnuts and how long does this christmas fruit cake keep for? Serve as is or with a bourbon/rum glaze! The inner box is wrapped around the cake to securely hold it in place so the sides and top do not get damaged in. I am not sure why fruit cakes have a bad rap.
